Soccer Stars has been developed by Mike Shilton and Maurice Holland. Both are F.A. Affiliated coaches, members of the  Football Association of Coaches, and trained in Child Protection Procedures & Basic First Aid. Each has been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau, and the Academy is fully insured.

Mike is Football Development Officer for Hayle Football Club. He is a Level 3 UEFA ‘B’ FA Standard Coach, which he has used to develop and engineer training sessions for the young players in Cornwall. Mike is the son of England Goalkeeper Peter Shilton. He lives in Hayle with his wife Linda, and their baby son Zach. Maurice is also a development Officer for Hayle Football Club as well As First Team Coach. He is Level 2 FA Standard, and comes with a wealth of experience and passion for the game. Maurice and his wife, Karen, live at Newlyn, with his son Ryan, and three stepchildren, Josie, Emily and Harry. Our Soccer initiatives have been formed to create a professional and educational environment for the development of youth football in West Cornwall. We incorporate all aspects of football, using up to date coaching methods and equipment for all members. Our aim is to provide training to all levels of players through our After School Clubs Disabled Clubs Soccer Camps Development Centre to ensure players progress to the best of their ability.
